just be

Every Monday night be church gets together in the Raynes Park tavern from 7:30 for just be.

just be is a discussion based evening, designed to provide a safe place where we can tackle difficult and challenging questions regarding faith and theology and support each other as we explore what it means to live in relationship with Jesus.

just be can take on different forms.

Sometimes we spend a couple of months reading a book together, looking at a couple of chapters each week.

We are currently reading What’s so amazing about Grace? by Philip Yancy. You can find out what chapter we are discussing by downloading the calendar here: Chapter calendar. If you would a copy of the book please email andy@be-church.org

Previous books include: The Vision and the Vow by Pete Greig, The Screwtape letters by C.S. Lewis and The Secret Message of Jesus by Brian McLaren.

We also sometimes use the Lyfe format for bible study where we read a few verses together and chat about “shockers” that surprised us and “blockers” that we find difficult to understand or agree with.
